Summary
This qualitative study on language discordance in healthcare settings aims to complement quantitative research based on administrative health data assessing the impact of language of service on patient health.
It will analyze, from the patients’ perspective, communication with health care professionals and the impact of linguistic concordance or discordance on their health care experiences.
